Sustainability Interns work approximately 10 hours per week to support university-wide initiatives by leading engagement events, implementing strategic sustainability plans, and researching best environmental practices.

Sustainability Outreach Interns (formerly known as EcoCaptains) are embedded within each residential hall in partnership with ResLife. These interns work 5 hours per week to engage peers through hall-specific sustainability programming and serve as liaisons between the Office of Sustainability and resident students. These roles provide students with hands-on experience in advancing campus sustainability through leadership, advocacy, and education.
