By connecting across disciplines and sectors through meaningful partnerships with communities, industry, government, and non-profit organizations, IoEE deploys innovative solutions and prepares future environmental leaders to meet the challenges of the 21st century. IoEE ensures sustainability, resilience, and green infrastructure are embedded in institutional decision-making and practice while advancing research, education, public engagement, and applied problem-solving by engaging over 220 faculty members across 10 academic units and five centers of excellence. Addressing complex challenges requires deep interdisciplinary collaboration across the natural sciences, social sciences, engineering, public health, law, policy, and IoEE is leading the way.
